My sister's funny antics
Spring Programs
Preschool Graduation:
We did a little joy school with some friends and the kids LOVED it! Addison looked forward to going each week and learning lots and being creative with the crafts. It was so much fun!
May Day :
Each spring since forever, the elementary school puts on a May Day spring program, where each class does a dance and the whole school sings and does a dance. The theme this year was based on books and Nathan's class walked like penguins and did tricks with jump ropes, gymnastics, hula hoops, etc. It was really fun for him.
The littlest cousins:
McKenzie and Bradley had an Arts night at the high school. She was in the band, jazz band, and choir and performed the trio that they did at the solo/ensemble festival:
Jazz band- Mckenzie is playing the piano and Bradley is the one in the center with the cowboy hat in back on trumpet:
Sydney's Birthday #13!
For Syd's 13th bday, she chose to take a friend to the city for shopping and fun. She took Jill and we went to the mall, Olive Garden (got stuffed), and to Farr's Fresh ice cream! They had a lot of fun. Something she doesn't hardly get to do since it's over an hour's drive...Happy Birthday, Sydney- you are officially a teenager- even though you don't want to be!
For Grandma's Bday, she got something necessary- you have to know her to appreciate this.
We celebrated with the family, Grandma's Birthday, Syd, Andrew and Mathew...

Seminary Graduation 2012
McKenzie graduated form Seminary...She played the flute in the special orchestra closing song and it was amazing! We are so proud of her. With all her busy-ness, she made seminary a priority and we'd often find her studying her scriptures at 2am or memorizing scripture mastery in the car on the way to a rehearsal. She missed a lot of days in the end because of school music activities, but went to extra classes to make it up. She's amazing, can I say? What dedication!

State Solo and Ensemble
McKenzie went to the State Solo and Ensemble Adjudication and got a '1" (Superior) rating on her flute solo, and a Superior on her trio with the Ransom brothers, and an Excellent on her piccolo solo. She did a great job and had a great time!
Musical Theater
Sydney and Nathan are in a musical theater/dance group. So fun to see their spring concert. They were great to watch. Our favorites were to see Sydney do jazz dancing, and sing her solo, "One Step at a time" and watch Nathan dance and do their 80's boy song with the Boy's Musical Theater Class. Put many smiles on my face that night!
Part of Sydney's Senior Company:
Awards night
We were so proud of the kids' accomplishments. McKenzie got the Wilbur Braithwaite scholarship, $500 cash for college, and got other scholarships and awards. Bradley got an academic letter also, but was at a lifeguarding class, so he couldn't be there. They did great!
Here's all the cousins with their awards(minus Bradley, who was at lifeguarding class)
After, we went for ice cream at Miller's Drive-In with the cousins and Nathan Wayman:
ok...they were a little silly...
