Our Disneyland trip...

Some pictures of our Spring Break Disneyland trip... With our friends, the Reeds at California Adventure... It was sure fun to hang out with them for a couple of days! Thanks Steve and Karyn- for a fun time!

We had a great time even though we were almost Disney'd out by 5 days at the park. McKenzie and Bradley couldn't get enough of the scary rides, though. Bradley even ended up with a painful crink in his neck and had to miss a morning of the park.

Nathan and Syd with their new playmates...
Addison was happy in the stroller all day. Perfect year to go, since she could sleep in the stroller...
With the Shields kids. Mike works with Brother Shields and we met up with them for some rides... Bradley and McKenzie on one of the worst rides (for me, anyway), they loved it!

For more Disneyland fun (Karyn)- go to the flickr button on my blog.

Addison also got to meet Grandma Howell for the first time. It was great! Thanks for letting us come!

Welcome to my world!!

Welcome to my world the past few months. Addison spits up at least 5 or 6 times a day. We've got piles and piles of laundry and usually a few stripes of white down my sweater. We have several burp cloths, but seem to not have them in the right place at the right time. Someone said for me to not eat chocolate, but I figure doing more laundry is worth eating the chocolate!!! AHH- CHOCOLATE! This video is minimal spit up, but sometimes it's tons!

Spring FEVER! Popcorn popping!

Some signs of spring I took at the AR Institute where Mike works. We were there for a CES Couples Conference today. It's been in the 60's and 70's and beautiful weather! Isn't California a nice place to live- most of the time!

Cool girls!

Natalie and Sydney had a "Mock sleep-over" tonight, all but the sleeping over part. They had a great time with their webkinz and eating ice cream! They made up a song called, "Hamily".

Happy Bday to me!

We celebrated my Bday this week. But since several of us were sick, we didn't do too much. Mike watched sick Nathan while I went to lunch with the Kindergarten moms, and we celebrated at night with my favorite chocolate pie from Marie Calendars. I got lots of chocolates and flowers from family and friends! It was fun, despite the sickness and worry about the kids. Now all of us have been sick except Bradley- who hardly ever gets sick. So much for living in a warm climate- still get sick! We are almost over it, though!

To the doc...

Poor Nathan- had a fever of 102 deg all week and missed school. When we could finally get him into the clinic, he had a burst ear drum and inner and outer ear infection. He's now on ear drops and antibiotics. He is such a trooper and doesn't complain much! Makes it nice, but hard to tell when something is really wrong with him! Hoping he'll be all better for spring break next week!

Band Festival

McKenzie in the band festival at Sac State this weekend. She's the one 2 girls to the right of the director- she's the tall one and playing the piccolo in this song. This is the short version- about a half of a song. Sorry so shaky- I was trying to juggle the baby in the back at the same time videoing with one hand with a little digital camera. Good job Symphonic band!!

McKenzie playing at Solo and Ensemble..

Today McKenzie played well at Solo and Ensemble at a music Festival at Sac State. She got an excellent on the judging and got some good pointers! We're proud of your hard work, McKenzie!

p.s. Her incredible band teacher, Mr. Weller is accompanying her on the guitar. She has been inspired by this teacher! Thanks, Mr. Weller!!

Where does all my silverware go?

And I wonder where my forks and spoons go... Sometimes they are in a car, sometimes in the yard in the dirt, and many are found in jars in the fridge! Here are a few of my forks!
