Trip to the Lake...
We have a lake by our house that we like to go to. They have a walking path around it. This year we've seen more animals than usual, which makes Addison VERY Happy. Scary thing is, she won't leave the geese alone, which is bad this time of year, as they are protecting their babies. They hiss at her and she doesn't understand to back off. So we have to TOTALLY hang on tight to her. The kids love it and it's a great time to relax and spend some time out in the beautiful sunshine with the kids and no stress of homework, practices, etc.
I think this is a muscrat...Anyone know?

Ashlee says she thinks it's a muskrat.
My kids love spotting all the turtles. They usually like to hang out on one rock.
The geese are sooo cute with their babies, but yes, stay back!
I haven't seen the turtles! We'll have to go check them out! We haven't been down there to walk around the lake in a while but there's only a few more weeks left to do it for free so I better get a move on.
These pictures are so pretty...you must have a decent camera!
