Spring City Tour/Scandinavian Festival

My mom and I and the 3 youngest stopped at the Scandinavian festival and then took a quick tour of the elementary school my Grandfather Art King attended as a boy. They are trying to get enough money to restore it. It was neat! We visited family graves and saw our ancestors buried next to Orson Hyde's grave. It was a great experience. Why had we not done that before? Wierd! Next time we can take Grandpa King so he can tell us some stories.

Some old homes in Spring City...

The old 1902 church building. Neat!

Now: the old Spring City elementary school my Grandpa went to. Maybe he wrote on the chalkboards and sat in these rooms:

We had yummy Italian ice at the festival, but it turned our tongues funny colors.

Sydney loved dancing to the music of "The Professors", a band made up of Snow College professors, including my old band teacher! FUN!
