McKenzie got 3 Superiors (or 1's as they call it here) at our Region Solo and Ensemble. She did a Piccolo Concerto, a flute Solo, and a trio with the Ransom brothers- bass- flute and drums. She also played in the jazz band with piano and accompanied someone on piano.
We had to laugh as she was running from one thing to another...We noticed the Korean Foreign Exchange student following her around like her personal assistant, making sure she got to the right room on time with her music. He'd carry around her backpack and all her stuff too. What a good friend! Gave us a chuckle for the day! So proud of her- she did great!
